Admin volunteer

Our admin volunteers help behind the scenes in our Saffron Walden office.  This could involve anything from answering phones to updating our database. 

Could this be you?

Whatever skills you already have you will be able to put them to use in a completely new environment.  A genuine concern for helping get the right education for children with special education needs and disabilities is essential. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, good computer skills and attention to detail.  You will need to be reliable, willing to get involved and communicate effectively.

What can you expect from us?

The opportunity for training and development on a personal level.  You’ll be assigned a supervisor for the entire time you’re volunteering with IPSEA.  They’ll be on hand to offer feedback about your performance and support your development in the role.

Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to young people.

Our Tribunal Helpline Gives next step advice on SEN appeals and disability discrimination claims to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal.
