Information Service

Our Information Service is for general legal enquiries and will signpost you to guides and resources on our website.

The service cannot provide specific advice about individuals and their circumstances, so do consider contacting our helplines if you require more tailored advice, or take a look at our free guides, resources and template letters where you may also find the information you require. 

The Information Service can provide up-to-date information on:  

  • Your child/young person’s rights
  • Local authorities’ duties towards children/young people with special educational needs and/or disability (SEND) and their parents
  • The duties of schools or colleges towards children/young people and their parents
  • Your rights as a parent of a child with SEND
