In some cases a non-disabled child or young person could be discriminated against if a school follows a policy or practice which unfairly disadvantages them in the same way as it disadvantages disabled children and young people or doesn’t treat them as well as other non-disabled children or young people because the school thought they were disabled when they’re not or because of their association with a disabled person.
