Our e-learning courses give parents, carers and professionals the opportunity to learn about the special educational needs and disability (SEND) legal framework at a time and pace that suits you.

Whether you’re looking for a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of SEND law or a shorter overview of specific topics, our e-learning is designed to help you gain the knowledge and confidence to understand the SEND legal framework and uphold children and young people’s legal rights.

All of our e-learning is based on the law as it applies in England.

In-depth e-learning

Our in-depth, self-paced e-learning explores SEND law in detail through three progressive levels. Each level builds on the last to deepen your understanding - from the foundations of SEND law to advanced topics such as appealing to the SEND Tribunal.

With downloadable resources and practical exercises, you’ll gain a strong understanding of how the law applies and how to use it to support children and young people with SEND.

Each level includes 10 modules, with around 10 -20 hours of study time in total, depending on how much additional material you choose to explore.
