Level 2 SEND law: 13 October

Our Level 2 SEND law training looks in-depth at specific areas of the law relating to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The content is particularly relevant for professionals advising or supporting families of children and young people with SEND, and is also suitable for professionals who have completed our Level 1 training and wish to extend their knowledge further. 

Delivered by a member of IPSEA's legal team, the training day covers the following topics:

• Inclusion
• The duty to specify in an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan
• Annual reviews
• Home to school transport
• Mental capacity
• Mediation

By the end of the training, we would expect attendees to be able to identify cases where more complex support is required, and to be able to begin supporting parents, carers and young people in such situations.

Duration: 5.5 hours (10.00 - 15.30, including breaks and Q&A)

Format: delivered virtually via Zoom

Our e-learning usually retails at between £350 and £700 per level depending on your organisation status, but is available to purchase for £249 per level when booked with this training day - or £599 if all three levels are purchased together. Payment by invoice: 30 Days or 5 days before the event whichever is the earlier.
Payment can be made via credit card up to 24 hours prior to the event. Please follow the booking detail below if paying via this method.
