Children and young people with SEN and disabilities seem to have more than their fair share of problems arising in relation to their education and training.
Sometimes such problems can be resolved by discussion and informal forms of dispute resolution. However, sometimes problems do not go away and parents of children with SEN and young people may need to take further action.
The steps to take depend who you need to make a complaint about:
Information and guidance on complaining about a nursery, school or college
Information and guidance on complaining about a local authority
Information and guidance on complaining about an EHC plan
If someone is treated unfairly because of their disability, this may be disability discrimination
