Fundraising Officer (Maternity Cover) - Fixed term until 31 December 2018
IPSEA is now recruiting for a part-time Fundraising Officer (Maternity Cover, fixed term until 31 December 2018) to join our fundraising and communications team during an exciting period of growth for our charity. You will be working as part of our office based team helping to raise the necessary funds to keep our vital services going.
IPSEA is a registered national charity giving free and independent legally based information, advice and support to make sure that children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) get the right education.
IPSEA is small, but influential, with a large reputation, and is poised on the brink of becoming much bigger. The Board of Trustees has committed to increasing by 50% the number of people helped by IPSEA over the next three years.
IPSEA provides a unique range of specialist services. These services include two helplines lines run by volunteers and a tribunal support service, as well as a detailed informative website.
IPSEA is at the forefront on policy issues relating to special education and is involved in responding and advising policy makers at all levels of government. Our practical every day experience of advising and supporting parents allows us to speak from a position of expertise and experience to provide crucial evidence of needs and challenges. IPSEA has committed to ensuring that no legislation, policy or guidance on SEND will come from government without our expert input.
At this time of growth and change IPSEA needs an outstanding fundraising officer to help grow this exceptional charity. This position calls for an experienced professional who is accustomed to making grant applications. A team player, you should have outstanding communication and organisational skills.
