We have been able to survive the difficulties COVID has thrown at us due to our incredible team of staff, trustees and volunteers.

And due to the generosity of donations.

Thanks in part to the donations we've received, we are proud to say we were able to support around 5,000 families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in 2020  the same as the previous year despite the hardships of the pandemic.

This Giving Tuesday, we're asking you to take part and support us at a time when we really need your help.

We know that there are many more parents and carers out there that would benefit from our services. But, as a small charity, we need your help to grow and increase the support that we are able to offer.
We need to be there for more families – families like Jenny's.

And there is more your support will do.

The SEND system is widely recognised to be in crisis, and the pandemic has only made things worse – disproportionally affecting children and young people with SEND. Against this backdrop, the Government has been carrying out a major review of the effectiveness of the SEND system – the ‘SEND Review’. We are very concerned that the Government will seek to permanently dilute the legal rights and entitlements of children and young people with SEND, resulting in far reaching negative consequences for children, young people and their families.

If you would consider a donation this Giving Tuesday, it would contribute greatly to our work, enable us to reach more people, and help us to respond to whatever challenges the SEND Review brings.

If you have any questions about our work, or if you have any other ideas about how you can support us, please contact our fundraising team who will be happy to answer any questions you have.
