The Children and Families Act 2014:  Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) – Decision Making and the Law – One day workshop

Jointly developed with the department for Education (DfE), the purpose of the workshop is to assist local authority decision-makers to interpret and apply the legal requirements of the Children and Families Act 2014 to some key decision points. It will highlight key elements of the legislation, illustrated with practical examples.

 

Aims of the workshop:

  • To assist local authorities to interpret and apply the legal requirements of the Children and Families act 2014 to some key decisions
  • To highlight important elements of the legislation, illustrated with practical examples, and provide an opportunity for open discussion and problem solving.

Please note, the training relates to the law as it applies in England.

Cost

£2,500 plus expenses

In an average group of 25 participants, this works out at £100 per head.
