Great start for Virgin Money Fundraising

Our new Virgin Money Fundraising pages have got off to a cracking start!  Simon Gray, age 32, who comes from Saffron Walden, Essex, has just completed a tough but exhilerating climb to the top of Kilimanjaro and has raised more than £600 for IPSEA. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa at just over 19,000 feet (5,800 mtrs).

Simon works as an Operations Team Leader for Universal Aviation at Stansted Airport. He was educated at local Saffron Walden schools, Great Chesterford C of E Primary School and then Newport Free Grammar School.

He is using this trip of a lifetime to raise funds for the Saffron Walden based national charity Independent Parental Special Eduction Advice (IPSEA), who provide free legally based advice and support to parents/carers of children with special education needs.

We would all like to congratulate Simon on his magnificant effort and thank him for the money he has raised for us.
