IPSEA receives grant from Community Fund
IPSEA was one of four charities that received grants
today from the Community Fund.
Diana Brittan, Chair of the Community Fund said:
"2003 is the European Year of People with
Disabilities and to date this year the Community Fund has given over £47
million to a variety of organisations who help disabled people. This latest
round of grants continue to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to disabled
people and are a perfect example of lottery money making a difference to
peoples lives.
"The projects we have funded today are fantastic
organisations that are helping these people play a fuller role in society and
live as independently as possible. Their carers and families will also benefit
from our recent funding."
The other organisations are Contact a Family, Canine
Partners for Independence, and The Disabled Workers Co-operative
Limited. |
